Acres
126
Mountainside property in Lee County, Virginia close to city of Bristol, and Tennessee/North Carolina. 126 mainly wooded acres with large trees and a mix of cedar thickets just adjacent to the field. The 10 acre hay field is loaded with clover at the base of the tract and along the creek. The top of the mountain borders Scott county and a small stream runs through the bottom. Plenty of deer, bear, squirrel, and turkey on the property, and it hasn't been hunted in a while as the landowner hunts on a different property. The property has 3 old logging roads that run laterally across the face of the slope which provide decent access and the ability to stalk and shoot if you like. The terrain is fairly steep but it is well worth the climb as the top/upper terrace offers awesome hunting and good visibility down the mountain. You know the big bucks like to go high! Or try your hand with a field setup for a gobbler or deer with good access to set up a climber, ladder stand, or ground blind around the field. There's a hay barn to get out of the weather if it turns nasty! In order to reach the property, you must either drive through or wade through a stream on the northern boundary line. See pictures and descriptions for help locating the property. Cell service is likely NA but google maps will get you there if you plug in the direction request before you lose cell service. CONTACT LANDOWNER FOR DIRECTIONS TO PROPERTY IF IN DOUBT. 4wd is recommended if you plan on driving across the creek.
