Membership FAQ
How much does Outdoor Access membership cost?
Outdoor Access offers two Premium plans: Monthly at $14.99 per month, and Annual at $149 per year. See the table above for a full breakdown of plan differences.
Is there a free membership?
A free account is available, and with it you can browse all properties and reserve daily leases with no monthly or annual fee. Without a Premium plan, scouting visits and background checks are $20 each, there is no discount on service fees, and you cannot purchase a seasonal or annual lease.
What is the difference between the Monthly plan and the Annual plan?
Monthly adds full interactive maps and 50% off service fees. Annual includes everything in Monthly, plus the ability to reserve seasonal and annual leases, free scouting visits, free background checks, listing consultant contact information, $35 per year in bonus OA credits, and a discount for paying by check or ACH. Annual is the only plan that can reserve seasonal and annual leases.
Is the Annual plan cheaper than paying monthly?
Yes. At $149 per year, Annual costs less than twelve months on the Monthly plan and includes more benefits. The Monthly plan is the better choice if you only need membership for part of the year, such as a single season, or if you intend to only purchase daily leases or permits.
Do I need a paid plan to book a property?
No. You can reserve daily leases without a membership. Seasonal and annual leases require a Premium Annual plan. Paid plans offer additional benefits, such as reduced service fees, free scouting visits, and the ability to hold a lease with a minimum $400 deposit.
How can I save on service fees?
Buy a Premium plan to get 50% off service fees on every daily reservation.
Which plan do I need to reserve a seasonal or annual lease?
The Annual plan. Daily leases can be reserved on any tier, including a free account. Seasonal and annual lease reservations are for Premium Annual members only.
What is a scouting visit, and what does it cost?
A scouting visit lets you walk a property to scout it before you hunt. Scouting visits are $20 each, and free for Premium Annual members. There is no hunting allowed on a scouting trip even if it is during the season. Anyone caught in violation of this will be barred from any future reservation. Scouting visits for daily leases require a booked reservation and cannot occur on the weekends during the season.
Do I need a background check, and what does it cost?
Yes. A background check must be passed to participate in any reservation or lease. The fee is a one-time $20, waived for Premium Annual members.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. Cancel anytime, and your benefits continue through the end of the period you already paid for.
